If the shower is dripping and leaking, do not rush to replace the new shower. Try to replace a new spool, most likely to solve the problem.
Spool disassembly is not complicated, attach disassembly diagram for you, you can do it yourself at home.
Before disassembly, please remember to turn off the water and water heater to ensure a safe environment.
1. Lift down the decorative cap on the handle. The screws that hold the handle are here. Loosen the screw, remove the handle, and maybe turn or two to remove the handle.
2. Twist off the decorative cover, and the used shower head may be full of scale and difficult to remove. Remember not to twist too tightly when installing, convenient for later disassembly.
3. Remove the gland nut (nuts are also various, the tool is flexible to use), take out the valve core.
4. Gently open the water valve, flush the valve body with water, remove impurities, and then replace the new spool (positioning should be accurate, the installation surface should be clean and free of debris).
5. Reinstall the gland nut, the tightness should be moderate (loosen the leakage, tighten the next inconvenience to remove), turn the spool adjusting rod clockwise until it can not turn, and then install the handle, screws and decorative cover.
Finally, the shower shower spool is recommended to buy imported ceramic spool, which has a long service life and is not easy to have dripping and leaking problems, and is easy to use and disassemble.
